1993 — FBI BRIBERY & KICKBACK INVESTIGATION

FBI and Snohomish County Sheriff's detectives seized Community Transit records. The agency's executive director admitted he was told about kickbacks in the maintenance department and did nothing. A management audit described his treatment of employees as "often autocratic and intimidating." He resigned. The agency received "blistering criticism."
